Do I have to be available to travel to the judging event?
All shortlisted entrants will need to be available to travel to the judging event in Byron Bay on the 3rd and 4th of April 2019. If exceptional circumstances prevent you from attending, you may contact us to discuss alternative plans so your entry can still be considered. Find our contact details here
May I enter both as an individual and a group entry?
Yes, you can enter as an individual and as a group, there are no limits on how many entries you can submit.
How might my creation be used?
Your creation might be used in Australian macadamia industry marketing collateral by the commercial sector of the industry. The recipe may be provided to a food manufacturer for commercial production. You may be contacted as part of this process.
Who owns the Intellectual Property to my creation?
You will retain your rights to the IP of your creation. However, by participating in the Promotion and in accepting the Terms and Conditions, you agree to grant the Promoter and its affiliates a licence to use the IP of your creation as specified in clauses 54-56 in the Terms and Conditions.
I am a professional and my contract states that the IP of my work belongs to my company. Can I still enter?
You may still enter the Promotion but will need to obtain full prior consent from your employer to granting the licence over the Design and Content to the Promoter and its affiliates as contemplated by the Terms and Conditions (see clauses 54-56 and 59(d) in particular).
